Cookie policy

Cookie policy used by LHS-NATURLAND

ARTICLE 1. COOKIES

A cookie is a text file stored on your computer, tablet or mobile device when you browse the internet and, consequently, the LHS websites.

Cookies do not directly identify a user, but identify a browser or device. Information relating to content viewed on a media device is directly associated with an identifier contained in the cookie.

These files enable us to temporarily store anonymous information about the use of our website, in particular the shopping basket or user preferences, which enables us to optimise the website and compile statistics.

In addition, cookies enable us to record user profiles and restore their preferences when they log in via their usual device, which makes it easier for them to browse the Site.

ARTICLE 2. TYPES OF COOKIES USED ON THE WEBSITE

LHS uses cookies that can be grouped into several categories:

Essential or technical cookies are cookies whose sole purpose is to enable or facilitate electronic communication, or those strictly necessary for the provision of an online communication service at the express request of the user.

These cookies enable, in particular:

  • To retain the choice expressed by the user regarding the storage of trackers;
  • Authenticate with a service;
  • Adapt the presentation of the site to the display preferences of the terminal;
  • To store information relating to the contents of a shopping basket, or to forms that the user has filled in on the website;
  • To offer the user access to their account.

Audience measurement cookies are used to obtain information about the user’s browsing (examples of purposes: performance measurement, detection of browsing problems, optimisation of technical performance or ergonomics, estimation of the power of the servers required, analysis of the content consulted, etc.).

Advertising cookies are linked to targeted advertising, i.e. observing users’ browsing habits in order to create a specific profile and show them relevant advertisements.

Third-party cookies are those sent by trusted third-party partners. As such, LHS uses Google cookies.

ARTICLE 3. CONSENT AND EXEMPTION

According to the guidelines of the CNIL, a distinction must be made between cookies that require prior consent and those that are exempt.

Cookies that require your prior consent are advertising cookies and audience measurement cookies that are not exempt from consent.

Technical cookies and certain audience measurement cookies are covered by the exemption regime.

With regard to audience measurement cookies that are exempt from consent, you may exercise your right to object.

We use a Consent Management Platform (CMP) to collect consent and manage the right to object.

This tool allows you to easily manage the activation or deactivation of our cookies, with the exception of technical cookies, which are and remain necessary for the proper functioning of our services.

Your browser’s help file will enable you to set the appropriate configuration. Otherwise, browsing the Website without accepting cookies may be impaired.

ARTICLE 4. RETENTION PERIOD

We comply with the requirements set by the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority) regarding data retention periods.

Technical or essential cookies are retained for the period necessary for the provision and proper operation of the service.

Audience measurement cookies are stored for no longer than 13 months. Information collected via these trackers is stored for 25 months.

Other cookies are stored for a period that is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which they are used. The validity of the consent given will not exceed a period of 13 months.

ARTICLE 5. TRAFFIC

Traffic data is generated when your device is connected to the internet and to the Website.

This data may be used for statistical purposes to analyse Site traffic and improve the Site by adapting it to your needs. Traffic data is never used by LHS in a way that identifies you personally.

Updates to this policy

This policy is subject to change, particularly in the event of changes to the services offered on the Website. We therefore recommend that you consult it each time you access the Website.
